Wild clip Wings in OT

(St. Paul, MN/Minnesota News Network) — Kirill Kaprizov’s second goal of the hockey game was the winner as the Wild beat the Red Wings 4-3 in overtime at Grand Casino Arena. Three times the Wild trailed in the hockey game and three times they pulled even. Kaprizov tied the game at 1-1 in the first and Mats Zuccarello tied the game at 2-2 early in the second. Zuccarello’s second of the game came at 6:11 of the third to pull the game even at 3-3 and then Kaprizov scored his 13th career overtime winner to seal the victory. The win stopped a five game losing streak on home ice and gave them their first win in St. Paul since December 20th. Quinn Hughes had three assists on the game and now has 24 points in 20 games since coming to Minnesota via trade in December. Filip Gustavsson notched win #100 of his career on 31 saves. The home stand continues tomorrow night for the Wild as the finale of Hockey Day Minnesota when they host the Florida Panthers at 8 P-M.
