Wild Drop Series To Golden Knights
(Minnesota News Network- St. Paul, MN) — The Minnesota Wild’s season is over after a first round exit against the Vegas Golden Knights. The Wild fell to Vegas 3-2 in Game Six last night at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul. Ryan Hartman scored with under four minutes left in regulation to get Minnesota within a goal, but the Wild weren’t able to find the equalizer. Hartman had two goals in the losing effort. The Wild dropped the best-of-seven series 4-2. They have lost eight straight postseason series. Here are the series results:
Game One: Golden Knights 4, Wild 2 (final-Sunday, Vegas leads 1-0)
Game Two: Wild 5, Golden Knights 2 (final-Tuesday, series tied 1-1)
Game Three: Wild 5, Golden Knights 2 (final-Thursday, Minnesota leads 2-1)
Game Four: Golden Knights 4, Wild 3 (final-OT-Saturday, series tied 2-2)
Game Five: Golden Knights 3, Wild 2 (final-OT-Tuesday, Vegas leads 3-2)
