Wild fall in LA

(Los Angeles, CA/Minnesota News Network) — The Wild pushed late but could never fully close the gap as they fell to the Kings 4-2 on Monday night in L.A. Ryan Hartman scored at 15:21 of the third period to cut the Kings lead to 3-2 but Los Angeles scored into an empty net exactly three minutes later to ice the victory. Jared Spurgeon scored the other goal for Minnesota and both Brock Faber and Nico Sturm recorded their 100th point in the N-H-L. Filip Gustavsson suffered the loss on 29 saves. While the Wild lost twice in three games to the Kings they’ll finish the season series at 1-1-1. They’ll also move to 3-1-2 in the first six games of the seven game road trip which concludes on Thursday night in Seattle. Puck drops at 9 P-M.
