Wild Fall In Vancouver

Kiefer Sherwood broke a 1-1 tie with 3:45 left in regulation as the Canucks beat the Wild 3-1 on Friday night in Vancouver. Brock Faber scored Minnesota’s only goal when he connected on the power play 7:12 into the final frame. But Sherwood answered shortly after and former Minnesota State Maverick Teddy Blueger finished the scoring into an empty net to stop the Wild’s two game win streak. Filip Gustavsson took the loss on 17 saves as the Wild outshot the Canucks 38-20 on the game. Minnesota starts a seven game home stand on Sunday when they host Pittsburgh at 2:30 P-M.
