Wild Get Another Road Win

The Wild got 31 saves from Filip Gustavsson in a 3-1 win over the Maple Leafs on Wednesday night in Toronto. Marat Khusnutdinov and Jared Spurgeon each scored in the first period and Marcus Foligno tallied into an empty net to ice the victory as the Wild net a win in each of the first two games of their five game road trip. The Wild also beat the Leafs in overtime back in November in St. Paul. Minnesota has already matched their road win total from last season at 19 victories in just 27 games as they’ve won three straight and seven of the last nine away from Xcel Energy Center. They’re in Montreal on Thursday night at 6 P-M.
