Wild Lose In OT, Pick Up A Point
Vincent Trocheck scored :24 seconds into overtime as the Rangers beat the Wild 5-4 in O-T. Gustav Nysquist, Brock Faber, Marcus Johansson and Marco Rossi scored for Minnesota as they fall to 0-0-2 in the first two games of their three game road trip. The Wild have lost three straight past regulation including both games on the trip. They also fell to the Devils via a shootout on Monday in New Jersey. The Wild do gain a point though and now have the exact same record as the Blues at 41-28-7 and 89 points. Head Coach John Hynes talks about the importance of getting points on this road trip.
Minnesota holds down the first Wild Card spot though via tie breaker. The road trip concludes on Friday night against the Islanders at 6:30 P-M.
