Wild lose to Devils

(Newark, NJ/Minnesota News Network) — Minnesota wing Matt Boldy scored the only goal as the Wild finished a dismal road trip with a 4-1 loss in New Jersey. The Devils opened up a 3-0 lead with goals in each period before Boldy finally got on the board with his fifth goal of the season. Despite 32 saves from Filip Gustavsson, the Wild still suffered defeat and finished the five game road trip at 1-3-1 grabbing just three out of a possible 10 points. Minnesota is now home for 11 of the next 13 including an upcoming six game homestand which starts this weekend with games against Utah and San Jose.
