Wild On Home Ice Tonight With New Player

(Minnesota News Network- St. Paul, MN) — The regular season finale is tonight for the Minnesota Wild and they could have some new blood in the line up to help push them over the finish line. Zeev Buium, the 12th overall pick by the Wild in 2024, just wrapped up his career at Denver University and turned pro on Sunday. He practiced with the Wild yesterday for the first time as a member of the big club and could make his N-H-L debut against the Ducks. Buium helped the Pioneer win the N-C-A-A title last year and was part of the team that got bounced by the eventual champs Western Michigan last week in St. Louis. He also was a finalist for the Hobey Baker Award. The Wild will advance to the Stanley Cup Playoffs with at least one point tonight against the Ducks. They also could back in if either the Blues lose in regulation against Utah or the Flames fall in regulation at home against Vegas. Wild and Ducks face off tonight at 7 P-M from Xcel Energy Center.
