Wild Players Return To Ice
(St. Paul, MN/Minnesota News Network) — The Minnesota Wild got back to work on Tuesday at TRIA Rink in St. Paul…well, at least some of them. Roughly half of the team is still over in Milan as men’s ice hockey reaches the knock out rounds of the 2026 Winter Olympics. That includes seven members going toe to toe today in the quarterfinal match up between Team U-S-A and Sweden. The Swedes advanced thanks to a Tuesday win over Latvia. Their reward to facing off against an American squad led by Wild players Quinn Hughes, Matt Boldy and Brock Faber. The Swedes feature Wild forwards Joel Eriksson Ek and Marcus Johansson plus both Filip Gustavsson and Jesper Wallstedt. The Wild and the N-H-L returned to action on Tuesday for the first time since the Olympic break began. The schedule resumes on Feb. 25 with the Wild returning to game action on Feb 26. in Colorado.
