Wild shut out Montreal

(Montreal, Quebec) — In what was probably his final trip to his hometown, Marc Andre Fleury delivered a 20 save shutout in a 4-0 win over the Canadiens in Montreal. Minnesota got goals from Liam Ohgren, Marco Rossi, Devin Shore and Freddy Gaudreau but the night was all about Fleury as he was saluted throughout the game from the Canadien fans. Fleury has said that this will be his final season in the N-H-L after being drafted first overall by the Penguins in 2003. The shutout was the first of the season for Fleury but 76th all time tying him for 10th most in league history. The Wild are a perfect 3-0-0- to open up the five game road trip which continues on Saturday night in Ottawa and concludes Tuesday night in Boston.
