Wild Trade For Tarasenko
The Minnesota Wild made a trade on Monday afternoon to bring in two time Stanley Cup champion Vladimir Tarasenko from the Red Wings in exchange for future considerations. Tarasenko, 33 years old, scored 11 goals and 33 points last season in 80 games with Detroit. Wild GM Bill Guerin explains why the Wild went out and got Tarasenko.
In his career the 6-foot-1, 218 pound right wing out of Yaroslavl, Russia has scored 304 goals and 662 points in 831 games across 13 N-H-L seasons. He won Stanley Cups in 2019 with the Blues and 2024 with the Panthers.
