Wild Win 4th Straight In Shoot Out
Matt Boldy and Jesper Wallstedt starred for the Wild in the shootout as Minnesota got the victory over the Avalanche on Black Friday in St. Paul. Kirill Kaprizov scored twice in the second period but the Avalanche forced overtime when Colorado captain Gabe Landskog pulled the game even at 2-2 in the third. In the shootout, Matt Boldy gave the Wild the lead and Jesper Wallstedt stopped Cale Makar as the Wild got the extra point and extended their win streak to seven straight. Wallstedt is now a perfect 3-0 in shootouts this season and have won six straight overall as he continues to lead the N-H-L in goals against average and save percentage.
