Wild Win In OT

Kirill Kaprizov and Joel Eriksson Ek both returned to the line up and both contributed in a big way to an 8-7 overtime win on Wednesday night over the Sharks. Kaprizov scored two goals and had three points including his 10th career overtime winner to seal the win. The victory was anything but easy though as the Wild blew a three goal third period lead before salvaging both points in O-T. Eriksson Ek scored a career high four goals in the win and Matt Boldy added a career high four assists. Marc Andre Fleury got his 574th career victory – and N-H-L record 70th overtime win – despite giving up seven goals on 31 shots. Fleury reflects on his last (possibly) regular season start.

It was Kaprizov’s first game since January 26th and Eriksson Ek’s first game since February 22nd. Minnesota travels to Calgary on Friday and then Vancouver on Saturday.
