Wild win in OT
(St. Paul, MN/Minnesota News Network) — Wild winger Marcus Johansson was awarded a goal at 3:38 of overtime to lift Minnesota to a 3-2 overtime win over the Predators. Kirill Kaprizov fed Johansson on the backdoor in overtime where he was all alone just as Predators goaltender Justus Annunen intentionally knocked the net off it’s pegs. The referee on the scene didn’t hesitate, signaled a goal and after review Johansson was awarded his sixth career overtime game winner. Kaprizov and Zeev Buium also scored for Minnesota as the Wild have won two straight for the first time this season and end up .500 on their six game homestand at 2-2-2. Filip Gustavsson made 32 saves in the win. The Wild are in Carolina at 6 P-M tomorrow night and then will visit the Islanders on Friday.
