Wild Win Second Straight

Marcus Foligno scored his first career hat trick as the Wild doubled up the Maple Leafs 6-3 on Monday night in Toronto. Vladimir Tarasenko also scored twice and Ryan Hartman had the other as the Wild moved to 2-0-0 to open up their three game road trip out East. Foligno on getting hot after not scoring any goals in the first half of the season.

Filip Gustavsson made 27 saves in the victory as the Wild improved to 8-1-2 in their last 11 on the road. The win also moved them past Dallas for sole possession of second place in the Central Division with a 28-13-9 record and 65 points. The Leafs had won seven straight at home. The road trip continues tonight for the Wild in Montreal with a 6 P-M puck drop.
