William “Willie” Logan

Willy Logan, age 64 of Morris, Minnesota, passed away Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at the Stevens Community Medical Center in Morris, MN.

Visitation for Willie Logan will be held Sunday, February 9, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Pedersen Funeral Home in Morris, MN.

Visitation will continue from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. on Monday, February 10, 2025, at Assumption Catholic Church in Morris, MN.

Funeral services for William “Willie” Logan will be at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, February 10, 2025, at Assumption Catholic Church in Morris, MN, with Father Todd Schneider celebrating the mass.

Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Morris, MN.

William John Logan was born on April 20, 1960, in Morris, Minnesota, to Kenneth and Catherine (Sauter) Logan. Willie was baptized and confirmed in his Catholic faith and received his education at Chokio Public schools until the age of 13, when the family moved to Morris. Willie continued his education in Morris. After his schooling, Willie worked for Trademark Homes, Roart Plastics, Superior Industries and Morris Lumber. In addition to his day job, Willie also freelanced as a roofer – Willie’s Roofing. In 1997, because of physical restrictions, Willie was forced into retirement. He continued to live in Morris.

Willie enjoyed hunting, fishing, mechanics, and attending the races. He had a strong work ethic, was a hard worker, very down to earth, practical, and many would also say, stubborn and intense. Willie was a recovering alcoholic, which was a huge part of his identity – good or bad. In addition, he had the biggest heart and was always willing to help anyone in need.

Survived by his siblings: Joe (Sharon) Logan of Sioux Falls, SD, Stan Logan of Morris, MN, Deb (Rick) Brustuen of Cyrus, MN, Robert (Kelly) Logan of Cheyenne, WY, and Christopher Logan of Cyrus, MN; thirteen nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Kenneth and Catherine; stepfather, Robert Whelan; and brothers: Larry Logan, Ronnie Logan, and Daniel “Boone” Logan.
