Willmar man arrested for Meth

(Willmar, MN/Minnesota News Network) — A Willmar man who previously shot at a police is in custody again. The Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office and the CEE-VI Drug and Gang Task Force arrested the 28-year-old man early Monday. The suspect was recently released from Minnesota Department of Corrections custody in relation to the shooting at a Willmar police officer in July 2022. He violated the condition of his release and earned an arrest warrant. During his arrest, he was found in possession of a handgun and methamphetamine. A21-year-old woman was also arrested and found to have meth.
