Willmar Man Charged in Meeker County Shooting
A Willmar man has now been charged after he allegedly admitted to shooting a woman in Meeker County Thursday afternoon near Grove City.
According the the criminal complaint, 21-year-old Tyler Colby Wagstaff is facing four felony counts that include Attempted 2nd-Degree Homicide and 2nd-Degree Assault.
The victim told deputies the suspect arrived at her home and was enticing her to come outside. The victim started to go outside at which point she saw the suspect had a gun so she retreated back into the home and the moment she closed the door, the suspect shot at her.
The complaint says the victim received a minor wound to her bicep and was treated at the scene.
Wagstaff was arrested during a traffic stop in Grove City without incident.
