Willmar Man Injured in Motorcycle Crash

A Willmar man was injured in a motorcycle crash in Kandiyohi County Saturday afternoon north of Willmar.

The State Patrol says 32-year-old Joshua Surerus was taken to Willmar Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Surerus was traveling northbound on Highway 71 when he lost control of the motorcycle at Highway 23 and went into the median.

The Patrol says he was not wearing a helmet and alcohol was involved in the crash.

The crash happened just before 12:30pm.
