Willmar Man Injured in Renville County Crash

A Willmar man was injured in a single-vehicle crash in Renville County Wednesday morning south of Hector.

The Sheriff’s Office says 31-year-old Steven Jones was taken to Olivia Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

Authorities say Jones failed to negotiate a curve on Highway 4 at 475th Street, entered the ditch, and hit an embankment and telephone utility box.

The crash happened just after 7:30am.
