Wolves Advance to Semi’s

The Minnesota Timberwolves punched their ticket to the N-B-A Western Conference semifinals with a 103-96 road win over the Los Angeles Lakers in Game Five last night. Rudy Gobert (go-BARE) came up big with 27 points and 24 rebounds to lead Minnesota to the series-clinching victory. Julius Randle chipped in 23 points as the T-Wolves won the series 4-1. Head coach Chris Finch says forward Julius Randle had a major impact on the series.

Luka Doncic (don-chitch) paced the Lakers with 28 points in the team’s season-ending loss. The Lakers have now had a first round exit from the postseason in back-to-back seasons. The Wolves have won at least one series in back-to-back seasons for the first time in franchise history. Minnesota will play either the Warriors or Rockets in the second round.
