Wolves beat defending champs

(Minneapolis, MN/Minnesota News Network) — The Minnesota Timberwolves picked up their third straight win with a 123-111 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder at the Target Center last night. The Wolves never trailed in the game and led by as many as 22 points in the second half. Anthony Edwards poured in 26 points in the victory, while Jaden McDaniels finished with 21. Minnesota is in fifth place in the N-B-A Western Conference at 30-19. The Thunder slipped to 38-11 this season, getting 30 points from league M-V-P Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. The T-Wolves visit the Grizzlies tomorrow night at 7 P-M.
