Wolves beat Sacremento

(Minneapolis, MN/Minnesota News Network) — The Minnesota Timberwolves got 24 points from Julius Randle, 21 points from Jaden McDaniels and 20 from Naz Reid in beating the Sacramento Kings last night in Minneapolis 117-103. The Wolves were playing without star Anthony Edwards and used a new-look starting line-up that includes Bones Hyland starting at point guard. He scored 18 points on 6-of-10 shooting. Minnesota also was without Mike Conley and lost Rudy Gobert due to what the team called personal reasons. Minnesota trailed by seven-points after one quarter of play and by one-point at halftime. But, they outscored the Kings by 15 in the second half to claim the victory. The 17-9 Wolves have won seven of their past eight games and are sixth in the N-B-A Western Conference. Sacramento dipped to 6-20. Minnesota will next play on Wednesday night when they host the Memphis Grizzlies at 7 P-M.
