Wolves can’t complete comeback, lose in Buzzer beater
(Minneapolis, MN/Minnesota News Network) — The Minnesota Timberwolves could not take advantage of a 20-point fourth quarter comeback and lost to the Los Angeles Lakers last night in Minneapolis 116-115. The Wolves put on a 24-7 run to take a one-point lead when Julius Randle hit a lay-up with ten-seconds remaining, but L-A’s Austin Reaves knocked down a floater at the buzzer to give the Lakers the win. Julius Randle scored 33 points in the losing effort, while Jaden McDaniels finished with 30. The Wolves were playing without star player Anthony Edwards, while the Lakers did not have Lebron James or Luka Doncic. Minnesota dropped to 2-3. The Wolves visit the Hornets on Saturday night at 5 P-M.
