Wolves Close Out Series With Warriors

(Minnesota News Network- Minneapolis, MN) — The Minnesota Timberwolves are heading back to the N-B-A Western Conference Finals for the second straight year. The Wolves took down the Golden State Warriors 121-110 in Game Five last night in Minneapolis, wrapping up the best-of-seven set by a 3-1 count. Wolves forward Julius Randle led the charge with 29 points, while star Anthony Edwards chipped in a double-double with 22 points and 12 assists. The Wolves will now face either the Oklahoma City Thunder or Denver Nuggets in the West Finals. Brandin Podziemski paced Golden State with 28 points in the season-ending loss. Golden State played most of the series without star player Steph Curry.
