Wolves Defeat Wizards
The Minnesota Timberwolves used a dominant first-half performance to pull out a 120-109 win over the Washington Wizards in Minneapolis last night. The Wolves led by 25 at halftime and cruised to their second straight victory. Minnesota head coach Chris Finch says they hung on to win.
Julius Randle paced the team with 32 points, while Naz Reid contributed 28 points off the bench. Minnesota has won six of seven to sit at 10-5. Kyshawn George had a team-high 23 points for Washington in the losing effort. The Wizards have now lost 12 in-a-row to fall to 1-13. Minnesota will visit Phoenix tomorrow night.
