Wolves Eliminate Golden State

The Minnesota Timberwolves are heading back to the N-B-A Western Conference Finals for the second straight year. The Wolves took down the Golden State Warriors 121-110 in Game Five last night in Minneapolis, wrapping up the best-of-seven set by a 3-1 count. Head Coach Chris Finch says this is an important step in a long journey.

Wolves forward Julius Randle led the charge with 29 points, while star Anthony Edwards chipped in a double-double with 22 points and 12 assists. The Wolves will now face either the Oklahoma City Thunder or Denver Nuggets in the West Finals. Brandin Podziemski (poe-JEM-skee) paced Golden State with 28 points in the season-ending loss. Golden State played most of the series without star player Steph Curry.
