Wolves Ink First Round Selection

(Minnesota News Network- Minneapolis, MN) — The Minnesota Timberwolves have locked down their first round pick. The team signed center Joan Beringer to his rookie-scale contract yesterday. The Wolves drafted the French center with the 17th overall pick in the draft last month. The 18-year-old averaged 4.7-points and 4.6-rebounds in 47 games between the A-B-A and EuroCup last season. Beringer and the rest of the young players of the Wolves are in the midst of practicing at team headquarters in downtown Minneapolis early this week. They are preparing for the 2025 N-B-A Las Vegas Summer League competition, which begins for Minnesota on Thursday afternoon in Vegas. Meanwhile, the team practices in Minneapolis today and tomorrow.

Here is the four-game preliminary schedule for the Minnesota Timberwolves at the N-B-A Las Vegas Summer League:

Thursday, July 10: vs. New Orleans, 2:30 P-M

Saturday, July 12 : vs. Denver, 9 P-M

Tuesday, July 15: vs. Detroit, 3:30 P-M
