Wolves lose to Short handed Bucks

(Minneapolis, MN) — The short-handed Milwaukee Bucks outlasted the short-handed Minnesota Timberwolves in a 103-101 win at the Target Center last night in Minneapolis. Brook Lopez made a pair of free throws with ten seconds left to put Milwaukee up two, and Anthony Edwards missed what would have been a game-winning three at the buzzer. Apple Valley product Gary Trent Jr. poured in 21 points off the bench to lead the Bucks on a night that they were missing their top two players in Dame Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo. Milwaukee has won two of three and is 29-24. Minnesota’s Anthony Edwards had 28 points in the losing effort, while Naz Reid finished with 22. The 30-25 Wolves have lost two in a row. They were without Mike Conley, Donte DeVincenzo, and Julius Randle. Next up for Minnesota is game tonight against the Oklahoma City Thunder at 7:30 P-M.
