Wolves Pick Up Road Win in Memphis

The Minnesota Timberwolves put together the highest-scoring quarter in franchise history during a 141-125 win over the Grizzlies in Memphis last night. The Wolves trailed by five at halftime before outscoring Memphis 52-25 in the third quarter. Anthony Edwards was 7-of-11 from three-point range and poured in 44 points in the victory, Head Coach Chris Finch admits Edwards kind of took over the game in the third.

Julius Randle finished with 31 points and ten rebounds. Minnesota has won six of seven to improve to 47-33. Memphis star Ja Morant had 36 in the losing effort. The Grizzlies and Timberwolves are in a three-way tie with the Warriors for sixth place in the N-B-A Western Conference playoff chase. However, Memphis is currently seventh and Minnesota sits eighth due to tiebreakers. The Wolves host the Brooklyn Nets tonight at the Target Center at 8 P-M.
