Wolves Pick Up Season Sweep Over Suns
The Minnesota Timberwolves completed a season-series sweep of the Phoenix Suns with a 124-109 win at Target Center on Friday night. The Wolves built up a 12-point halftime lead and pushed the lead to as much as 22 points in the second half. Julius Randle led Minnesota with 25 points. Anthony Edwards was hit in the face late in the second quarter and was taken to the locker room for treatment. He returned in the second half and finished with 20 points. Minnesota sweeps the season series with Phoenix, winning all four games. The Wolves are 42-32 and in eighth place in the conference standings with eight games to play in the regular season. Next up is a home game against Detroit tomorrow night.
