Wolves Roll In Memphis

(Minnesota News Network- Memphis, TN) — The Minnesota Timberwolves put together the highest-scoring quarter in franchise history during a 141-125 win over the Grizzlies in Memphis last night. The Wolves trailed by five at halftime before outscoring Memphis 52-25 in the third quarter. Anthony Edwards was 7-of-11 from three-point range and poured in 44 points in the victory, while Julius Randle finished with 31 points and ten rebounds. Minnesota has won six of seven to improve to 47-33. Memphis star Ja Morant had 36 in the losing effort. The Grizzlies and Timberwolves are in a three-way tie with the Warriors for sixth place in the N-B-A Western Conference playoff chase. However, Memphis is currently seventh and Minnesota sits eighth due to tiebreakers. The Wolves host the Brooklyn Nets tonight at the Target Center at 8 P-M.
