Wolves trade Conley
(Minneapolis, MN/Minnesota News Network) — The Minnesota Timberwolves traded veteran point guard Mike Conley Junior to the Chicago Bulls for cash considerations. The move is believed designed to free up salary cap space for a potential deal prior to tomorrow’s N-B-A trade deadline. Yesterday’s move was part of a three-team trade with the Bulls and Detroit that could also include a draft pick swap with the Pistons. In the other parts of the trade, Jaden Ivey heads to Chicago from Detroit while Kevin Huerter and Dario Saric head to the Pistons. The deal could signal more is to come as multiple media outlets are reporting the Wolves are among the teams trying to potentially trade for Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo. The trade deadline hits tomorrow afternoon.
