Wolves trade Conley

(Minneapolis, MN/Minnesota News Network) — The Minnesota Timberwolves traded veteran point guard Mike Conley Junior to the Chicago Bulls for cash considerations. The move is believed designed to free up salary cap space for a potential deal prior to tomorrow’s N-B-A trade deadline. Yesterday’s move was part of a three-team trade with the Bulls and Detroit that could also include a draft pick swap with the Pistons. In the other parts of the trade, Jaden Ivey heads to Chicago from Detroit while Kevin Huerter and Dario Saric head to the Pistons.
