Wolves Win 2nd Straight In Denver
The Minnesota Timberwolves notched a big road win yesterday in Denver, dispatching the Nuggets 117-108 in a Sunday afternoon N-B-A game. The Wolves featured a balanced attack with six players in double figures, led by Anthony Edwards’ 21 points. Denver star Nikola Jokic led all scorers with 35 points in the losing effort. Minnesota guard Donte DiVincenzo hit five baskets from three-point range to spark the team. The Wolves have won six of their past seven games and improved to 38-23 with the victory, one game ahead of Denver for fourth-place in the Western Conference. The Nuggets slipped to 37-24 with the setback. Minnesota will host Memphis tomorrow night at the Target Center at 7 P-M.
