Wolves Win Second Straight
Minnesota star guard Anthony Edwards had another big night as the Timberwolves took down the New Orleans Pelicans 104-97 last night at the Smoothie King Center in Louisiana. Edwards went seven-for-11 from beyond the arc to lead Minnesota with 32 points. Julius Randle chipped in on offense with 16 points, while Rudy Gobert (go-BARE) was strong on defense with 14 rebounds and six blocks. Zion Williamson scored 22 points in his return to the Pelicans line-up, while Dejounte (di-JHOHN-tay) Murray led New Orleans with 29. The Pelicans had their two-game winning streak snapped, dipping to 7-30 on the year. The Wolves have won their last two games to improve to 19-17. Minnesota visits Orlando tomorrow night at 6 P-M.
