Woman Cited Following Accident Involving A Pedestrian

A Redby area woman was cited following an accident involving a pedestrian last week in Thief River Falls. 

Police say Peggy Kingbird was southbound on Knight Avenue North when the 2007 Honda she was driving “struck the pedestrian while in the crosswalk” at 3rd Street West. Kingbird was cited for Failure to Yield to a Pedestrian. No injuries were listed in the report. 

Authorities responded just after 4:30pm, Thursday.
